The finest turkey available:

The minute we tried these small turkeys, which can be grill-smoked or deep-fried, Thanksgiving was changed for good. A smaller bird means faster cooking, more versatile cooking and serving options, and fewer leftovers to dry out in your fridge (you can always get extra, if you love cold turkey sandwiches).

We are raising these birds the old-fashioned way: out on pasture, where they forage grass and insects. Turkeys help to fertilize and clean pastures, eating weeds, insect larvae, and parasites. They also love to roam around their paddocks and develop intricate social lives. Our turkey breed is called “Sonoma Valley Classic (Midget White)” — these are smaller, slower-growing birds than the industrial broad-breasted breeds, and they produce exceedingly juicy meat.

Studies show that pasture-raised poultry has higher levels of omega-3 fats and Conjugated Linoleic Acid (powerful anti-inflammatory compound that fights obesity and cancer). On top of that, these birds will be totally free of all antibiotics and growth hormones, which are commonly used in industrial turkey production. In addition to certified-organic fresh pasture, these turkeys eat organic grain pellets from Modesto Milling Company.

This is a turkey that’s sure to inspire thankful appreciation for the bounty of the land, here in the Willamette Valley.
